Patrick Gillihan, MS, DPM

Dr. Patrick Gillihan specializes in ankle and rearfoot surgery, earning his degree from Barry University School of Medicine and Surgery in Miami, Florida. He completed a rigorous foot and ankle residency, with a focus on wound care and reconstruction of the diabetic foot and ankle at Yale New Haven Health at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Gillihan served as chief resident his final year there.

He is pleased to be part of the medical team at Comprehensive Integrated Care (CiC). “Medicine is not linear and being a part of a multi-specialty practice will allow me to gain additional insight on how to best treat my patients with the upmost care while taking a ‘whole person’ approach. I am truly honored to join a compassionate and patient oriented group of health care professionals,” says Dr. Gillihan.

He values the relationship that develops between patient and doctor. “One of the most humbling parts about being a physician is the ability to build a strong rapport with people trust my guidance and care of their health,” he says. “For many of my patients their treatment can be life altering and working together as a team is crucial towards reaching positive, obtainable long-term outcomes.”

Dr. Gillihan moved to Arizona in 2018 with his wife and four children. When not taking care of his patients, he enjoys spending time traveling and hiking with his family.
